I have been playing video games since I was young. We didn’t own many consoles (only a Wii), so PC was my main platform.

Playing video games is so relieving, so calming, it is very much a coping mechanism. Like anime, there are video games for any kind of player. Casual players, mobile players, players who like to relax and take games at their own pace, fast action combat and shooters, etc. There are games for literally any kind of person. If you’re like me, then you play any kind of game as long as you like it.

Now that I have my own money, I’ve been able to buy my own consoles and play many games.

Genshin Impact

My current obsession is Genshin Impact. This is one of the best open world games I have ever played, and the fact that it’s free is even better. Genshin Impact has so much lore, so many different quests, so many (amazing) characters and play styles, that you’ll never get bored. You can challenge domains (dungeon-style), fight the different world bosses, complete any one of the side quests, regional story quests, archon quests, there is so much to do in this game.

It is a gacha game (and I have admittedly become a whale), but it is possible to get characters for free (you just have to grind). I’ve been playing with my go-to freeze team:
