All Around the World

Traveling

Imagine leaving the world you’ve known your whole life and heading somewhere entirely new. Full of new languages, landmarks, people, food, attractions, etc. To be able to travel the world is a luxury I want to become a reality. I want to live these experiences over and over.

It’s not like I haven’t ever traveled before, I have. When I was 12, I visited Western Canada for two weeks. It was an amazing trip (I did not want to come back to America)! We visited the Calgary Tower, the Empress hotel, even stayed at an indigenous teepee camp! That trip was so memorable, and life-changing, it was a terrible shame my camera broke halfway through the trip. Recently, I went to Niagara Falls, and the falls were so much more beautiful than I imagined. Even when we got to up close and personal with the waves!

I’ve come to fall in love with Korean culture, so South Korea is where I aspire to live for the foreseeable future. What’s more is that it’s so different than America. It’s a much smaller country, but so much more convenient. K-pop was the gateway, and ever since then, I’ve learned about other parts of the culture. It’s so beautiful! Jeju Island has many attractions, Itaewon in Seoul is a very comfortable place for foreigners (and partygoers), etc. There’s so much about the country to love and learn!
