Hello, I’m Tamia, and I’m the voice behind this mental health blog. I am a black woman who is passionate about promoting well-being, self-care, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly in communities where these topics are often kept in the shadows.

My journey with mental health challenges has shaped my perspective and fueled my desire to create a safe space for open, honest conversations. Like many of you, I’ve faced my own battles with anxiety and have experienced the power of seeking help and healing.
