ROME
When visiting Rome it is best in my opinion to get an Airbnb instead of a hotel room because it gives you more freedom to be closer to certain places, can sleep more people, and is less expensive.
The must-see attractions when visiting Rome are the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the fashion district.
When touring the Colosseum I recommend getting a private tour guide, mine was an archeologist who helped with the digging of other historical sites in Rome like Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, they have a much more accurate detailing of the history and you have the assurance that they know the information they are telling you.
If you are going to make it to the Trevi Fountain you have to go early in the morning because once it hits 9 am it is packed for the rest of the day and hard to get good pictures. So waking up early is a must to see that beautiful site.
The fashion district is best to travel to once it’s later in the day so there are fewer tourists and due to there being a lot of walking the sun is not beating down on you. And if you are lucky, you might get to see part of a designer fashion show! (I did it was surreal!)
My favorite part of our time in Rome was our last night there when we had dinner on a rooftop in the heart of Rome. The views where amazing and watching sunset from that height is unmatched.
