Elkridge

Elkridge is a small town also founded off the Potasaco. Its geographic location is interesting because it is on the border of Howard, Baltimore, and Arundel Counties. Elkridge was founded in the early 1700s and became an industrial port town due to its strategic shipping location. Elkridge was also known for its iron production, foundries, and mills. Elkridge is now a suburb that has preserved some of its historical roots.
