I have played officiated basketball for over 8 years under multiple coaches in my life. I have learned much from personal experience, but I have gained more from the tutelage of my father.
My father taught me from a young age how to shoot properly (form shooting) which involves proper stance, proper placement of arms, and understanding where to look/aim. My father took the time to teach me about the game of basketball and broke the knowledge needed to play the game. From my father, I learned that basketball is 80% mental and 20% physical, meaning that no matter how fit you are and/or how skilled/talented you are, if you are not mentally strong or have low basketball IQ, you will not go far in basketball.
I take the time to teach my clients about what is needed to go far in their basketball career, as well as teaching thing I wish I had known early in my career. I have made many mistakes during my career and I hope to prevent others from making the same mistakes.
I focus on improving my client’s basketball IQ, shooting form, and physical abilities/longevity.
