Stained Glass Windows Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 10 ounces colored mini marshmallows
Cooking Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter on low heat.
- Once the butter is almost melted, add 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the pan. Stir together to melt the chocolate and ensure it does not burn.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool enough that you can place your finger in the pan, but the chocolate has not solidified.
- After the chocolate has been cooled, pour in 10 ounces of colored mini marshmallows and stir until completely covered in chocolate.
- Separate the chocolate mixture onto two sheets of wax paper and form into logs. Refrigerate logs for 6 to 8 hours or until solid.
- Slice logs into 1/2 to 1-inch slices and serve! Serve immediately, or store in the fridge until serving
