Stained Glass Windows Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces colored mini marshmallows

Cooking Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter on low heat.
  2. Once the butter is almost melted, add 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the pan. Stir together to melt the chocolate and ensure it does not burn.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool enough that you can place your finger in the pan, but the chocolate has not solidified.
  4. After the chocolate has been cooled, pour in 10 ounces of colored mini marshmallows and stir until completely covered in chocolate.
  5. Separate the chocolate mixture onto two sheets of wax paper and form into logs. Refrigerate logs for 6 to 8  hours or until solid.
  6. Slice logs into 1/2 to 1-inch slices and serve! Serve immediately, or store in the fridge until serving
