Belgium and the U.S. are of course two different countries with different people. The U.S. consist of many immigrants which creates many cultures that sometimes mix together in their traditions and values. Belgium again has values of privacy and involvement in government while having unique traditions that are not found in the U.S.
U.S. on the other hand has different values comparatively. U.S. being established as a country in 1776 has been influenced by several immigration waves over the years. Compared to Belgium, people in the U.S. seem to be more public about their lives granted some outliers but for most it can safe to say that this is true. Another difference is having emphasis on liberty and individualism as well as taking values from its own Bill of Rights. Lastly, America is more “extreme” in government and is vast in landscapes compared to Belgium.
