In Owings Mills, you’ll find New Town High School McDonogh School, and Owings Mills High School. New Town is the newest out of the three schools being built in 2003 while Owings Mills was built in 1978. New Town and Owings Mills are around the same size containing about 1200 students each. McDonogh is a private school containing 1400 kids and was built in 1873. McDonogh is mostly known for it’s Lacrosse team.

New Town has a few alumni that has played professional sports such as :
Quincy Roche (NFL draft prospect) and Douglass McNeil (Ex NFL Wide Receiver)
