“Suz” Heutte
I started my Mass Communications degree at Towson University in 2018, though I had applied originally as a Theater student and then as a History Secondary-Education student. Thankfully, Towson has amazing programs for all three courses, so I received a lot of helpful guidance from the beginning.
Aside from Journalism, I’m a bit of a homebody with a hobby in both writing and visual art. My passion for creating stories has long since overrun my life. A lot of my inspiration comes from YA novels that I read as a kid, so a lot of my writing (including that for my major) ends up sounding a lot like the works of Rick Riordan and Leigh Bardugo.
I also adore theater. Due to COVID restrictions and tight schedules from working and school, I have not been able to enjoy either acting or enjoying shows. Once things calm down more, you’ll definitely be able to find me at local Baltimore venues, especially Centerstage.
