This is the Burger King rebrand done by Jones Knowles Ritchie in 2021.
This rebrand plays homage to Burger King’s logo from the late 60’s, but gives it a more timeless approach than their previous branding, which felt very late 90’s/early 2000’s. I like the manipulation of the type in this. They chose to stretch the type non-proportionately, which is usually a big no-no, but it works in this case. I especially like the use of type over the zoomed-in high-quality food photography. It gives a fresh feeling to fast food.
I love this rebrand so much! Playful, simple, and dare I say elegant?
Now, I want a burger!
