This is a popcorn tin from 2018 purchased from Main Street Bakery in Main Street, U.S.A. Main Street, U.S.A. is a land in Magic Kingdom Park in Disney World that is meant to resemble small towns in America in the early 20th century. It evokes a sense of nostalgia for that time period.
This tin uses patriotic colors and a sort of Art Deco poster-style typeface for the majority of the packaging. It definitely screams “USA” and feels like it could’ve came from early 20th-century America. Some of the text is dimensional, which gives a fun tactile feel as opposed to just something to look at. It makes sense that some of the text would be popped out since it is for popcorn.
Perfect example of a classic Americana-style typeface. Love how your examples are food-themed; it makes your blog so fun to read.
Thank you!
