When planning to start a garden you must know what you want to plant. Not all plants can be planted during all four seasons. Plants like Tomatoes, Strawberries, Watermelons are summer plants. They won’t yield fruit if planted during the fall or winter.

The type of soil you use also plays a major role! The soil can’t be too dry or too wet. It must have the correct texture. The best soil to use is Loam soil. It is a well-balanced soil type that consists of a mixture of sand, silt, and clay particles.

Constancy is key! Learn about the type of plant you may want to use. How often it need to be watered. If it should sit directly in the sun or in the shade.
