Jolly Ranchers

Jolly Ranchers were invented in 1946 by Bill Harmsen. Hershey currently owns the candy brand. In 2002, the factory has moved from Wheat Ridge, Colorado to Mexico. 

 

 

Lifesaver

Lifesavers were invented in 1912 by Clarence Crane. They were intended to beat the summer heat unlike chocolate. They started out as mints since the fruit flavors were not the original goal.

 

 

Peppermints

 

 

 

Gobstoppers

Named after the candy in the movie and book ” Charlie and the Chocolate”, this candy was made in 1976 by the Company Nestle. These are also know as jawbreakers. Jawbreakers can traced all the way to ancient Egypt.
