Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients List:

  • 2 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flower
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips

 

Cooking Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and in a small bowl mix together baking soda, flour, and salt, set this aside for later.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugars with a mixer, then beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour mixture, from the small bowl, as well as chocolate chips to the mixture until blended.
  4. Onto a cooking sheet, drop dough in balls, spread balls of dough evenly across the sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes and put on a cooling rack. Cool completely and store in airtight container.
