Ingredients List:
- 2 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flower
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of softened butter
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
Cooking Directions:
- Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and in a small bowl mix together baking soda, flour, and salt, set this aside for later.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugars with a mixer, then beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour mixture, from the small bowl, as well as chocolate chips to the mixture until blended.
- Onto a cooking sheet, drop dough in balls, spread balls of dough evenly across the sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes and put on a cooling rack. Cool completely and store in airtight container.
