- Make the best of this time
- Yes getting your work done is the most important thing in college, but it is also a great time to interact with people, join clubs and participate in college events
- This is an experience you most likely won’t get the opportunity to have again, so enjoy it!
- Get close with your professors
- Go to office hours and have conversations with your professors, they can lead you to wonderful opportunities, or give great advice
- It is ok to not know what you want to do in the beginning- not everyone has life or college figured out
- Use your campus resources
- You pay for them, utilize the tutoring, writing, and health care centers
- Go to events both on an off campus
- You can meet wonderful like minded people and develop some great relationships as well as have a fun night out
- Don’t procrastinate on an assignment
- This is easier said than done, but it will help a lot of you work on your time management
