Ingredients:
- 400g plain flour
- 120g sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 185ml whole or diluted evaporated milk
- 40g butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- oil (for frying)
Preparation:
- mix all dry ingredient, then add the egg and melted butter
- stir and combine until you get a crumby dough
- add milk
- mix until you get a smooth and non-sticky dough. leave the dough for 30 min
- sprinkle some flour on a clean surface, then roll out the dough on it
- using a pizza cutter or knife, cut your dough into desired sizes and shapes
- poor cooking oil into a pan, should be enough to cover /deep fry chin chin.
- fry for about 2 minutes or till golden brown
- scoop out when dry and place in a paper towel lend plate to soak oil
- yummy Nigerian chin chin is ready
