Snickerdoodle Blondies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled until no longer warm to the touch)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • Topping Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Grease and flour a 13X9 pan & set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and milk. Stir well.
  4. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and stir until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt
  6. Stir dry ingredients into the butter mixture until combined.
  7. Spread batter evenly into the prepared 13X9 pan and prepare the topping.
  8. Topping Prep:
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over snickerdoodle blondie batter.
  10. Bake at 350F (175C) for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted in the center and it comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
