Hello everyone my name is Matt Kells. I will be writing blogs about the hikes I go on with my German Shepherd Pepper on nearby trails all throughout the Hereford Zone. I have hiked a decent amount of trails with friends and family but I would like to explore the Hereford zone to find new trails unknown to Pepper and I. In my blog I hope to learn how to effectively construct a blog, whether it be the structuring, when to insert a video or picture in the blog, and write effectively to keep readers hooked on my next hike.

Not only do I hope to learn how to write blogs, I also hope to learn about the extensive trails that have been made around the Prettyboy Reservoir. The Prettyboy Reservoir is a man made body of water in northern Maryland that people in the region are gravitated towards for its natural and man made beauty. I hope to learn about numerous trails so I can document and share them with a larger audience so I can recommend trails to people who like to hike, bike, horse back ride, or any form of exercise. I hope to make my blogs as peaceful and simple as the trails themselves.

As I go on hikes with my wonderful woofer, I will be taking photos as well as videos of what the trail looks like, so people know what to expect before going on the trail themselves.

As the weather gets colder and mother nature has been decomposing for some time now, the trails might not be as scenic as they would have been with everything being green and vibrant. But no matter the time of year, hiking is still an incredible form of exercise and the sights taken in along the trail are never not appreciated.
