South Africa

The country I lived in Africa was South Africa.  South Africa is one of the Mecca’s of Africa and I am so happy that I got to live there.

South Africa’s appearance is like a canvas painted with diverse landscapes that’ll leave you in awe. Picture this: vast savannas stretching out with golden grasses, where elephants and lions roam freely. Then, there are the  mountains, like the Drakensberg Range, standing tall and proud, offering breathtaking views. And let’s not forget about the stunning coastline—miles and miles of beaches with turquoise waters that’ll make you want to dive right in. Urban areas like Johannesburg and Cape Town boast modern skyscrapers mingling with historic buildings, creating a blend of old and new. Oh, and the colors! You’ll find vibrant hues everywhere, from traditional clothing to the lively markets. South Africa’s appearance is like a patchwork quilt of natural wonders and vibrant cityscapes that’ll steal your heart.

Food:

Imagine South African food like a big flavor party! They love their braais, which is like a super fun barbecue with tasty sausages and steaks. Then there’s bobotie—it’s like a spicy, yummy meat pie topped with egg. And don’t forget biltong, their awesome chewy meat snack! They’ve got this porridge called pap that’s like a cozy hug for your tummy, especially with some tasty sauces.
