Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are currently 5-3 and are ranked the second-best team in the division. Their defense has played superbly, regularly making up for their poor offensive attack. The Ravens lost to the Steelers earlier this season, unable to have an answer for their pass rush. Players like T.J. Watt, the Steelers defensive end, have been an issue for offensive lines all season, with 9.5 sacks already. The Ravens need to find a way to mitigate Watt’s performance and continue being successful on defense to achieve a victory in their next meeting.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns are currently 5-3 and are ranked the third-best team in the division. Similar to Pittsburgh, the Browns are a team that has relied heavily on their defense to win games. The Ravens were victorious against the Browns in their first meeting this season, annihilating them offensively and defensively. However, players like Myles Garrett, the Browns defensive end, were a serious threat to the Ravens passing offense. Similar to T.J. Watt, the Ravens need to find a way to contain Garrett if they want to replicate their first performance they had against the Browns. Defensively, there is not much to be said about necessary adjustments, as the Browns were only able to score 3 points in their first meeting.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are currently 5-3 and are ranked the fourth-best team in the division. Despite having a solid record, they have struggled both offensively and defensively this season. The Ravens were barely able to leave victorious in their first meeting with the Bengals, making countless mistakes on both sides of the ball. A consistent problem the Ravens have dealt with the past few seasons is the passing connection between Bengals quarterback, Joe Burrow, and wide receiver, Ja’Marr Chase. The Ravens defense needs to make adjustments to ensure the Bengals passing attack is not as dominant as usual. Offensively, the Ravens need to secure a large lead to not allow Burrow and Chase to operate off any momentum.
