Player Statistics

As of 11/03/2023, these are the top Ravens players in each of these categories:

Offensive

Passing- Lamar Jackson has currently produced 1954 passing yards (14th most in the NFL). While his numbers appear relatively mediocre, Jackson has still constantly been in the MVP discussion. This is because he has also produced 440 rushing yards, which is the highest among any quarterback. The combination of his air and ground game has made Jackson one of the most highly regarded players in the league.

Rushing- Gus Edwards has currently produced 478 rushing yards (15th most in the NFL). After J.K. Dobbins was injured at the beginning of the season, Edwards was forced to step up as the Raven’s main running back. His numbers don’t completely reflect his performance, as he gets much less opportunities than most running backs, due to Jackson being such a major part of the team’s ground game. If the Ravens utilized him more, most would agree that he could easily become a top 5 running back in the league.

Receiving- Mark Andrews has currently produced 477 receiving yards (31st most in the NFL). Similar to Edwards, Andrews is another player who’s statistics don’t entirely display his true value on a team. The Ravens are a very diverse offense, meaning that while most teams specialize in passing or rushing, they use both almost evenly. This means that Andrews has significantly less opportunities than most receivers to produce statistics. Despite this, Andrews has still caught 6 touchdowns, which is the third highest amount in the league.

Defensive

Interceptions- Geno Stone has currently produced 6 interceptions (1st most in the NFL). After Marcus Williams was injured against the Tennessee Titans, Stone was forced to step up as one of the Raven’s main safeties. He has played astonishingly well ever since, which is reflected by his interception statistics. Most would agree that his performance has earned him a starting position, and the respect from offensive coordinators all around the league.

Tackles- Roquan Smith has currently produced 87 tackles (4th most in the NFL). Smith has regularly demonstrated why he is one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL. After his arrival last season, the Ravens significantly improved in almost every defensive statistic. In addition, the Ravens have allowed the fewest amount of points in the 2023 season, and many people would attribute that to Smith’s presence on the field. His leadership and tackling ability has made him one of the most dominant forces in the league.
