As of 11/8/2023, here are some of the most important players on the Raven’s roster that are currently injured:
J.K. Dobbins #27 (RB)- Dobbins was placed on Injury Reserve on September 12th, after suffering an Achilles injury against the Houston Texans. He averaged 662.5 rushing yards in his first two seasons, so his absence undeniably has been negative for the Raven’s ground game. Dobbins most likely will be out for the remainder of the season.
Marcus Williams #32 (S)- Williams’s status is currently questionable after suffering a hamstring injury against the Tennessee Titans. Williams was a crucial part of the Raven’s defense last season, with 4 interceptions and 44 solo tackles. Nevertheless, many believe that Williams could lose his starting role to his backup, Geno Stone. Stone has played exceptionally this season and is currently the leading player in the NFL for interceptions. Williams has returned to practice, but can expect to be in a tough battle for the team’s starting position.
David Ojabo #90 (LB)- Ojabo was placed on Injury Reserve on October 1st, after suffering an ankle/knee injury against the Indianapolis Colts. His injury has not been a major factor for the Raven’s defense, as they have given up the fewest amount of points in the entire league. However, as a younger player (23 years old), the Raven’s defensive coordinator would like to get him back out on the field as soon as possible to continue developing his craft. Ojabo is expected to miss the remainder of the 2023 season.
