The Tricep is a muscle located on the back of the upper arm. The tricep assist with the extension of the elbow joint . The extension of the joint is very beneficial in everyday life.
Exercises to do
- Skull crushers
These are performed by lying down on a bench and using a straight bar, ez curl bar, or straight bar. Holding the weight straight up, bring it down near the side of your ears, then back up.
- Overhead Extensions
These are performed by using a dumbbell or barbell, you lift the weight behind your head while keeping your elbows tucked and close to your head.
- Tricep Pushdown
For this exercise you will be at a cable machine. Set up the cable pulley so it’s just above head height and attach a straight bar or rope attachment which should hang around chest height. With your elbows tucked next to your body, push the bar down so your arms are straight down, then bring back up about 90 degrees.
