How I Learned

It took a while to learn the different stitches that can be used for different projects. The first stitches I learned were single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet, triple crochet, puff stitch, and bobble stitch. These stitches form the starburst granny square pictured in the image below. After learning how to crochet this granny square, I learned from tutorials how to create a bag out of them. I learned from YouTube tutorials entirely, but can now read written patterns that influencers provide online.
