Jollof Rice is a dish that is enjoyed in many West African countries. Each country has its twist in preparing the dish, but there are more similarities than differences. In Cameroon, raw rice is added to cooked tomato sauce and is placed in a big pot to cook. Different vegetables and meat are added to complete the dish.

Fufu and Njama Njama is one of the more popular dishes enjoyed by the majority of Cameroonians. Njama Njama is a green vegetable that’s also called African nightshade and huckleberry. Fufu is usually made of corn flour and water, but it can also be made of cassava or plantains depending on the region or country.

Ndole is a spinach stew made of spinach and bitter leaves and is eaten with boiled plantains or Bobolo (fermented cassava). Usually added is shrimp or chicken. Ndole is often referred to as the national dish of Cameroon.
