  • They gained more popularity in the 1990s as a designer dog and their appeal was the hypoallergenic coat of a poodle and the temperament and attitude of a golden retriever
  • They were noticed to be calm and great with kids and quickly rose in popularity in the 2000s
  • The Golden Doodle Association of North America was founded in 2008
    • The associations main purpose is to create a community for golden doodle lovers, breeders, and pet owners to establish save and support for golden doodle breeding
