Flamingos

Aruba is a very tourist-filled place. You can tell the tourist have really taken over the land. Most people there are not necessarily from Aruba, they are from neighboring countries. It made me realize that immigrants don’t go to only first-world countries but move to serene places like this, especially for retirement. The flamingo beach on Renaissance Island was my favorite part. I was able to feed and watch with flamingos on the beach. It was definitely scary at first but, the flamingos were very chill and did not mind as they were used to people nearby. I did see that at some point a flamingo chased a poor woman across the beach. The locals explained that the flamingo was the oldest there and was often grumpy.
