Overall when I went to Tulum it was very hot and humid but the rain definitely helped with cooling me down. The locals were really sweet and attentive. My friend and I got lost a few times and they were ready to help and gave directions on where to go. One of the places I visited was Azulik. It is a museum/restaurant in tulum. They asked to take your shoes off at the entrance before coming in. To me it looked like a luxurious treehouse. In the restaurant, there were plush seating and nets that you could walk and sit on. It had a great view outside.
