In the Amazon Rainforest humans are the biggest threats to explorers. These humans in the forest are called uncontacted tribes. These tribes are very isolated and are scared of “regular” humans. During Industrial Revolution the trauma of the rubber boom made these tribes become very violent towards newcomers. The rubber boom is when humans came into the forest and cut down trees to retrieve the substances needed to make rubber. Uncontacted tribes kill anyone who is on their land because they were raised to hate anyone who is not them. Rubber retrievers came into the Amazon Rainforest and attempted to wipe out the locals (uncontacted tribes) that lived there in order to get what they needed. The ones who survived the attack if the retrievers adapted a vengeance towards newcomers which started their hate and violence.
