What to see some landmarks?

Belgium is known for some of their historical landmarks. Here are some of those landmarks.

1. CASTLE OF GAASBEEK

Located in Flemish Brabant, Belgium (near the nation’s capital, Brussels), Castle of Gaasbeek was built around the year 1240 and now serves as museum. Around this castle is a park with lakes. Feel free to check it out!

 

 

2. THE ATOMIUM 

Modernist architecture resembling an atom shaped like a cube

One of the most famous monuments in Belgium is the Atomium because of its intricate design. The design consists of 8 spheres, all made of real aluminum, held together to create an enormous cube. It’s located in Brussels, so go ahead and see it for yourself.

 

3. BRUSSEL’S TOWN HALL AND GRAND PLACE

Lastly, we have another famous landmark that is also located in the capital of Belgium, Brussels. The Town Hall and Grand Place. Similar to Times Square, in New York, this landmark is the central square of the city. It is home to other historic buildings and restaurants.
