Historical Sites

Puerto Rico is known for its vibrant colored streets, divine cuisine, strong culture, and long historical background. If you are interested in learning about sites that tell the true history of Puerto Rico and catching some great views.

A very common tourist attraction on the island is a historical fort located in San Juan called El Morro. El Morro was used as a battlefield and port during the 1500s when the Spanish invaded. There you can walk through the fort and see renditions of how the soldiers would sleep, and eat, what they used to fight real cannons, and a gift shop. If you have never visited, it is a must!
