Fira
Fira is the island’s major town and one of Greece’s most beautiful locations. It’s positioned on the caldera cliff and has spectacular views of the volcano. Fira is the heart of Santorini’s nightlife, with the most restaurants, boutiques, and hotels. Santorini’s bus network is centered here, so you can go almost anyplace on the island with only one bus journey. This is the place to be if you want action, shopping, a wide range of dining options, and dancing clubs. Kamari Beach, about 20 minutes by bus from Fira, is the nearest beach.
Imerovigl
Imerovigl is the quietest and has the least nightlife and food choices. You may always stroll to Fira and return in a cab. Santorini’s quietest village along the caldera, Imerovigli, has the greatest sunset views on the island. The cliff is higher here, and the sunset is unobstructed by any nearby islands. Fira is a 20 to 30-minute walk from Imerovigli.
Oia
Oia is Santorini’s most gorgeous village, with some of the top hotels on the island. It’s on the island’s northern point and is known for its spectacular sunset views. The town is bustling during the day until dusk, but it rapidly becomes quiet when the sun sets. Although Oia has a lot of high-end shops and restaurants, many people grumble about the lack of pubs. The hike from Oia to Fira is gorgeous, but it takes several hours, thus Oia is mostly a cab or bus ride away from the island’s centre.
Firostefani
Firostefani is a 10-minute walk from Fira along the sidewalk. Firostefani is ideal if you want to be near to the activity of Fira without the crowds. Firostefani has similarly beautiful views. Firostefani has 10 to 12 restaurants, a bakery, and a few stores, but no bars or nightlife.
