Chocolate Chip Cookies

Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!

Ingredients~

  • 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of  Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of salted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Place the softened butter in a Kitchen Aid Mixer, or bowl, if preferred, and mix until butter is thoroughly beaten
  3. Add in 3/4 cup of brown sugar, mix well
  4. Add in 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, mix well
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of salt to the bowl and mix well
  6. Add 2 large eggs to the bowl and mix thoroughly
  7. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix
  8. First add 1/4 cup of flour to the bowl and mix thoroughly, then another cup of flour, mix, then add the final cup of flour and mix well
  9. Mix in 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  10. Portion out cookies onto a sheet pan according to the size of your preference
  11. Bake the cookie dough at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 9 minutes
  12. Let cool and enjoy!
