The brain is an extremely complex figure. Structured with neurons, making up the brain stem, cerebellum, and cerebrum. We have different parts of the brain that are coordinated with different functions such as the occipital lobe in the back of our brain is corelated to our vision capabilities.
Different parts of the brain:
- Frontal lobe
- Thinking tasks(effortful cognitive tasks and thinking, intentional movement)
- Parietal lobe
- Coordination of functions (reading, math, sensory information, map and spatial skills)
- Includes sensory cortex
- Occipital lobe
- Vision
- Temporal lobe
- Primary auditory cortex
- Language comprehension
- Some memory
- Some interpretation of experiences
