How to Balance your Time

While working during college can at times be super tiring and time consuming it may be a necessity. For me I work about twenty hours per week. Now this may seem like a lot and if it is too much for your school work load you should definitely cut your hours back. The average college student working a part time job in college works 15 hours per week. If you do work a part time job it is important you know how to balance time for school work and a job. For example I usually only work two days during the school week and then I work the weekends. The nights I work during the week it usually isn’t longer than four hours and I get off at 7 so I still have the remainder of my night to work on home work and things I need to get done. From personal experience working till 10 pm was not sufficient in being able to have enough time to get my school work done. With working a job you should make sure you have at least two hours of study time a night without it severely impacting your sleep so you don’t get burnt out! Balancing your time is going to be the most important thing to being successful in your studies and employment.
