As a fan of the show ever since it premiered on Nickelodeon in 2005, I want to share a glimpse of the world in Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA) to further explain the plot of the show. Although its original target audience was children, it has become a beloved favorite for adults and kids alike, having grown even more popular after its resurgence in 2020 due to being added to Netflix.

Before reading, it is also important to note that all information is from my own interpretation of the TV show and lore confirmed by the show’s creators. Due to copyright laws, images are not directly from the show unless they are considered fair use under a Creative Commons (CC) license or are not copyrighted, and all credit is to their original creators. With that said, the ATLA logo designed by Nickelodeon does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection, and its trademark permits usage for informational purposes. Therefore, the ATLA logo will be used throughout the project.
With all of that in mind, I hope you enjoy learning more about the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender!
