Veiled Whispers of the Heart’s Silent Dance

In the quiet chambers of my heart’s abode,
A secret ember of affection glowed,
For you, a friend so dear and true,
But silence veiled what I wished to show.

A symphony of feelings danced within,
Yet fear of change gripped me, my friend,
For I treasured the bond we’d cultivated,
And dreaded the chance it might rend.

When you drew close, my heart took flight,
Aflutter, it soared to new heights,
But I held back the words that longed to escape,
For fear they would change our shared lights.

I kept my feelings locked within,
In the caverns deep, where no light could dim,
I buried them deep, or so I thought,
But emotions, like rivers, persistently swim.

The universe held these emotions in care,
A cosmic plan beyond what we’re aware,
It whispered, “Patience, let time unfold,
When the stars align, your truths will bear.”

So I kept my sentiments hidden away,
Hoping one day they’d see the light of day,
In the meantime, I cherished our moments,
As friends, side by side, come what may.

The tides of time flowed ever on,
As I continued to stand, emotions withdrawn,
Till one fateful day, the universe decreed,
The feelings I kept were no longer foregone.

With stars as witnesses, I finally confessed,
Bared my heart, let my emotions be expressed,
To my surprise, you smiled and said,
You’d been feeling the same, in silence, suppressed.

The depths of my soul I had delved to hide,
The feelings that blossomed, couldn’t be denied,
Our friendship, it seemed, was meant to evolve,
As the universe wove our paths to coincide.

So fear not to feel, to let your heart free,
For the universe knows what’s meant to be,
In the delicate dance of friendship and love,
It guides us to moments of serendipity.

Art vs Expectations

In a world where dreams were cast aside,
My artistic fire began to hide.
The people around me, their doubts grew strong,
"Study harder, child, don't you want to belong?"

Ambitions suppressed, I followed their lead,
Achieving straight A's, fulfilling their creed.
But empty was my heart, devoid of delight,
For I craved the canvas, the colors so bright.

High school arrived, my facade crumbled fast,
Grades slipped away, like grains in an hourglass.
Yet within the chaos, a spark reappeared,
1 picked up my pencil, my passion revered.

Years lost, creativity held in chains,
But I embraced art, despite the pains.
And amidst the struggle, a glimmer of hope,
For my mother's support, like a lifeline, she'd rope.

Yet weary I grew, tired of pretense,
Of family's false pride, their shallow defense.
Demanding my work, their voices would persist,
But their words felt hollow, a mocking twist.

So now I break free, from their expectations,
Seeking my path, defying frustrations.
For art is my essence, my soul's sweet release,
Not measured by praise or societal peace.

I'll paint with resilience, my spirit aflame,
With strokes of passion, I'II etch my own name.
No longer bound by their doubtful embrace,
I'll forge my own destiny, in colors I trace.

For true fulfillment lies in following my heart,
In art's vast canvas, I'll find my true art.
No more seeking validation or lies to appease,
I’ll paint my own masterpiece, my soul's masterpiece.

Birth, Purpose, Destiny

23/6/29

In a regal chamber, King Xouthoe did say,
To his beloved children, in a tender display,
“The days of your birth, dear ones, hold great worth,
And the day you uncover your purpose on Earth.”

With wisdom profound, his voice gentle and clear,
He wove a tale of purpose, for all hearts to hear,
Like the rising sun’s glow on a canvas of gold,
His words danced in verses, captivating and bold.

“The moment you entered this world, my dear child,
A miracle unfolded, your spirit unbeguiled,
Your presence bestowed a gift, pure and divine,
A spark in this tapestry of life, ever so fine.

Yet more than the day you drew your first breath,
Lies a quest, a journey that brings forth your depth,
The day you discover your calling, your raison d’être,
A purpose unveiled, a destiny fair and square.

For life, my precious ones, is a mysterious rhyme,
A tapestry woven through the corridors of time,
And as you seek, explore, and embrace your quest,
The tapestry’s colors will harmonize at its best.

Listen closely to your heart, its whispering plea,
A melody of dreams, longing to be set free,
For within each soul, a unique purpose awaits,

A purpose that kindles love, the world elevates.

The days you were born, my children, hold great might,
But the day you find your why, illuminates the night,
Embrace your passions, let them guide your way.
For purpose, my darlings, ignites life’s grand ballet.”

And so, in the presence of a wise and caring king,
His children were inspired, their souls taking wing,
Fort they understood, with hearts wide open and clear,
That their purpose awaited, shining ever so near.

The most important days, a truth deeply ingrained,
In the hearts of his children, a legacy sustained,
King Xouthoe’s words, a beacon in their skies,
As they embarked on their journeys, with purpose as their prize.

Belief in a Worthy Blessing

I hope beautiful things happen to you, and when they do, I hope you can believe that you are worthy of every single one of them.

In the realm of verse, let's weave a tale,
Of hopes and dreams that gently sail.
Where beautiful things come to find,
A place to dwell within the mind.

Oh, gracious soul, may your heart be bright,
As stars that twinkle in the night.
May destiny's hand gently unfold,
In stories yet untold, but soon to be told.

When fortune's breeze whispers your name,
And blessings in your life find their calm,
Believe, dear one, that you're worthy, true,
Of every joy that comes to you.

Like petals adorning a bloom so rare,
Embrace each moment, for it's yours to
share.
Let doubt's shadow fade into the past,
For you my friend, have found your vast.

A tepestry woven with love and grace,
Painted ith hues of dreams embraced.
Embrace these blessings, let them unfurl,
As life's symphony dances and swirls.

And in the depths of yuor being, know,
You're desrving of all the seeds you sow.
For beauty resides within your core,
An eternal flame, forevermore.

So, when those beautiful things come your
way,
Breathe deeply, my dear, and let them stay.
Embrace the truth that you are deserving,
Of every blessing, ever deserving.

May your path be adorned with treasures
rare,
And may your heart forever bear,
The knowledge that you are worthy, true,
Of every dream that comes to you.

Love’s Dual Essence

Quote: “I only ever thought there were two kinds of love; the kind you’ll kill for, and the kind you’ll die for; but you my darling, you were the kind of love I would live for.”

In realms of love, where passions
intertwine,
Two archetypes emerge, distinct and
divine,
One, fierce and wild, ablaze in the heart,
A love so potent, it could tear worlds apart.

The kind you'd fight for, against all odds,
A love so fierce, it defies the gods.
A flame that consumes, with a fervent
desire,
Burning bright, setting souls afire.

Then there's the love that holds a hue different
hue,
a love where tenderness and grace shine
through.
A love that whispers softly, like a gentle
breeze,
A love that nurtures, outting souls at ease.

You, my darling, are a love of he latter kind,
A love that transcends, gentle and refined.
A love that grants life new purpose and
worth,
A love I'd choose to chrish, to love for on
this earth.

For in your eyes, a universe I find,
Where love's pure essence forever
wnwined.
With you, my dear, life blooms with delight,
A love that sustains, casting away the night.

No longer just kind to kill or die,
But a love that ignites the will to truly fly.
With you, my darling, love takes on new
form,
A love that transcends, like a perfect storm.

So let us journey, hand in hand,
forevermore,
Embracing this love we've come to adore.
For you, my darling, are the love I'll live for,
A live that whispers of eternity's lore.

Yearning for Love’s Embrace

Quote: “There’s a big difference between not being able to live without someone loving them.”

There's a big difference, profound and true,
Between not being able, and meeting you.
To live without love, a soul left to roam,
But with someone's affection, finding a home.

In the tapestry of life, love weaves its thread,
Binding hearts together, where desires are fed.
Without that embrace, a withering flower,
Longing for love's touch, every passing hour.

The yearning runs deep, like an ocean’s tide,
To be cherished, to be loved, by your side.
Existence alone, a mere empty shell,
But with love’s embrace, a story to tell.

For love is the essence, the life-giving breath,
A force that conquers the fear of death.
To be seen, to be treasured, in another’s gaze,
It brings solace and joy, in love’s endless maze.

So let us not falter, let us not forget,
The power of love, in a world so beset.
For without someone’s love, we’re incomplete,
But with their affection, our souls find retreat.

Not being able to live without love’s sweet kiss,
Is a testament to the depths of bliss.
In a world where love is a precious treasure,
It fills us with purpose, brings us boundless pleasure.

So embrace that difference, let it be known,
Love’s power to transform, to call it our own.
For not being able to live without love’s flame,
Is the essence of life, and why we came.

Risus Absentis

In moments when my presence wanes,
When solitude's embrace remains,
Recall the foolish words we'd share,
To soothe the ache of absence's glare.

Think not of absence, but of wit,
The jovial banter, bit by bit,
For though I'm distant, far away,
My spirit dances, free to play.

Imagine laughter in the air,
a symphony of jests we'd share,
In every word, a tender thread,
To gently mend what time has shed.

Let silly tales and jests resound,
Within your heart, let mirth abound,
For though we're parted, side by side,
The echoes linger, cannot hide.

So let my voice, in memories stored,
Bring solace when emotions pour,
May laughter guide you weary soul,
And tears dissolve in humor's roll.

Though absent now, I'm not truly gone,
In jests and quips, I still live on,
So let these words, a comforting balm,
Transform your tears into a calming psalm.

The Paradox of Control and Freedom

Ok, so this is a new thing I’m doing. a Three in 1 type post.

basically, it’s three poems on 1 post but It’s coming from the mind of one person at different points in their life.

  1. Trapped Will
I am my own prisoner, trapped in this cage,
No one can hear my cries of rage.
    I won’t be free, I won’t be brave,
I’ll do what they want, even to my grave.

You thought you had power over my life,
That without your consent, I was a strife.
But babe, you must understand my pain,
No one can save me, I’m already slain.

I’ll surrender my will, I’ll bow to your might,
With fear and weakness, I’ll give up the fight.
You can strap me down and silence my voice,
Or leave me to suffer, I have no choice.

For I am the slave of my own fate,
My destiny lies in the hands of hate.
So don’t try to save me, don’t even try,
For I am the one who slowly dies.

  2. Unrestrained Freedom
I am my own person, free and wild,
No one can dictate the path of my life.
    I won’t be held back, I won’t be beguiled,
I’ll do what I want, even with strife.

You thought you could hold me with your reign,
That without your permission, I’d be tamed.
But babe, you must understand my domain,
No one can control me, I won’t be shamed.

I’ll take the reins, I’ll steer my own course,
With courage and strength, I’ll show no remorse.
You can strap in and join me for the ride,
Or back down, cower, and hide.

For I am the master of my own fate,
My destiny lies in my hands to create.
So don’t try to control me, don’t even try,
For I am the one who soars high.

  3. The Dichotomy of Freedom and Enslavement
I am the master of my own fate,
But I am also trapped in a darkened state.
No one can dictate the path of my life,
Yet I am bound by chains of strife.

You thought you could control me with your reign,
But I am also a prisoner in this pain.
Babe, you must understand my domain,
I seek freedom, yet I’m enslaved.

I’ll take the reins and steer my own course,
Yet I am still a slave to a haunting force.
With courage and strength, I’ll show no remorse,
But inside, I’m broken, lost without a source.

You can strap in and join me for the ride,
But know that my soul is trapped inside.
Or back down, cower, and hide,
For I am the one who’s trapped, alone to abide.

For I am the master and the slave of my own fate,
My destiny lies in a twisted and tangled state.
So don’t try to control me, nor try to save,
For I am the one who’s lost, the one who’s enslaved.

What Once Was

Poem request by London: She gave the first line.

What happened to the good times?
The sun once shone so bright,
Its golden rays a gentle rhyme
That chased away the night.

The flowers bloomed in brilliant hues,
Their petals soft and kind,
And every breeze that gently blew
Brought fragrant peace of mind.

The world was full of wondrous things,
Like birds that sang with glee,
And laughter, like a pair of wings,
Set our hearts and sprites free.

But now it seems the world has
changed,
The sun obscured by clouds,
The flowers wilted and deranged,
Their beauty lost in shrouds.

The birds no longer sing their songs,
Their melodies now hushed,
And laughter, once a source of
throngs,
Has turned to tears, so crushed.

Yet even in this darkest hour,
A glimmer still remains,
A memory of what once was dour,
And hope that it sustains.

For though the world may seem to
fade,
Its beauty still endures,
and light of love, we'll wade
Through times that feel unsure.

Celestial Romance

The poem request from Jessica wants this quote “Isn’t it beautiful? The moon glowing using sun’s light and never ask for anything in return.” to describe their feelings for each other.

Two souls entwined, a bond so bright,
Like the moon glowing in the night,
Reflecting the light of the sun’s embrace,
Their love radiates with unyielding grace.

Like the moon, they shine with ease,
Without the need for anything to appease,
In each other’s company, they find solace,
A perfect union, without any malice.

Their love is like a cosmic dance,
A beautiful display of romance,
A celestial rhythm that’s pure and true,
Guided by the stars and the moon’s hue.

With each passing day, their love grows strong,
A timeless love that will last lifelong,
Just like the moon, they shine bright,
A wondrous sight, in each other’s light.
