Fractured Facades: A Heart’s Desalinization

In shadows cast, a tale now weaves,
Of shattered hopes and love's decieves,
A girl, wounded, her heart betrayed,
By a promise she thought would never
fade.

She offered her affection, open and true,
But he denied her, a painful residue,
A promise made, to stay as friends,
Yet it brought torment that never mends.

Resentment brewed, a venomous brew,
Within her heart, emotions askew,
She spun a web of bitter disdain,
To hide her love, now drowned in pain.

Her words like daggers, sharp and cold,
Lies she whispered, her true thoughts
untold,
She painted him with shades of disdain,
A fragile heart seeking to shift blame.

In her dark corners, anger thrived,
Fanning the flames of loved deprived,
She despised his choice, his distant gaze,
Yet silently yearned for his loving embrace.

But as she weaved her intricate lies,
The truth within her slowly dies,
For deceit cannot quell a wounded soul,
Nor fill the void where love once stole.

In the depths of her despair and spite,
She found no solace, no respite,
For love denied and promises kept,
Left her shattered, alone, and bereft.

Oh, bitter fate, with its cruel game,
Where hearts collide and break in shame,
No happy ending shall grace this tale,
Just echoes of love, doomed to fail.

So let her linger in her disdain,
A girl lost in love's cruel reign,
For sometimes pain has no release,
And bitter hearts find no lasting peace.

(Poem) Shadows of Disdain: A Tense Exchange between Teammates

In this world, divided by worth and use,
Two members of a team engage in dispute,
Ishnol, cold and emotionless in his views,
Believes Unela is worthless, without refute.

Unela, hurt and angry, stands her ground,
Years of working together now in question,
She thought they shared a mutual understanding,
But to Ishnol, she’s just a tool for selection.

The argument escalates, emotions flare,
Unela defends her skills and experience,
While Ishnol judges her without care,
She’s a liability, in his eyes, without coherence.

Unela refuses to give up on her dreams,
To quit the team and everything she’s worked for,
She sees her worth beyond her skill extremes,
And reminds Ishnol they’re not just tools, but more.

Ishnol, unmoved, warns of the danger ahead,
But Unela fights on, refusing to be swayed,
She challenges Ishnol’s views with a pointed thread,
And reminds him of the debt he’s yet to repay.

In the end, their argument unresolved,
The two teammates remain at odds,
One cold and unfeeling, the other resolved,
To prove her worth and fight for the cause.

Mazed Memory of Fire

Amidst the flames of my forgetful past,
I find myself lost in a mazy haze,
A labyrinth of memories that last,
A twisted path of smoke and fiery blaze.

I search for light to guide me through this maze,
To find a way out of this burning pain,
But every turn leads me to darker days,
And every step feels like a loss or gain.

Oh, how I wish I could escape this fate,
To break these chains of my own making free,
To find a path that’s not of fear or hate,
And reach the peace that waits ahead for me.

Yet, in this mazed memory of fire,
I’ll keep searching, with hope as my desire.

Mazed Memory of Fire (Song Version)

Verse 1:
I’m lost in a maze of memories,
A labyrinth of forgotten dreams.
I’m searching for a way out,
But the flames of my past keep burning me down.

Chorus:
Mazed memory of fire,
I’m trapped in the flames of desire.
Burning, yearning, never learning,
I’m lost in this maze of my own making.

Verse 2:
I try to escape, but the walls keep closing in,
I’m suffocating in the smoke of my sin.
I can’t remember how I got here,
But I know that I don’t want to disappear.

Chorus:
Mazed memory of fire,
I’m trapped in the flames of desire.
Burning, yearning, never learning,
I’m lost in this maze of my own making.

Bridge:
I’m tired of running, tired of hiding,
Tired of the pain and the lies.
I need to face my fears, to break these chains,
To find my way out of this maze.

Chorus:
Mazed memory of fire,
I’m trapped in the flames of desire.
Burning, yearning, never learning,
I’m lost in this maze of my own making.

Outro:
I’ll find a way out of this maze,
I’ll break these chains and start a new page.
I’ll leave behind this mazed memory of fire,
And find the freedom of my heart’s true desire.

The Paradox of Control and Freedom

Ok, so this is a new thing I’m doing. a Three in 1 type post.

basically, it’s three poems on 1 post but It’s coming from the mind of one person at different points in their life.

  1. Trapped Will
I am my own prisoner, trapped in this cage,
No one can hear my cries of rage.
    I won’t be free, I won’t be brave,
I’ll do what they want, even to my grave.

You thought you had power over my life,
That without your consent, I was a strife.
But babe, you must understand my pain,
No one can save me, I’m already slain.

I’ll surrender my will, I’ll bow to your might,
With fear and weakness, I’ll give up the fight.
You can strap me down and silence my voice,
Or leave me to suffer, I have no choice.

For I am the slave of my own fate,
My destiny lies in the hands of hate.
So don’t try to save me, don’t even try,
For I am the one who slowly dies.

  2. Unrestrained Freedom
I am my own person, free and wild,
No one can dictate the path of my life.
    I won’t be held back, I won’t be beguiled,
I’ll do what I want, even with strife.

You thought you could hold me with your reign,
That without your permission, I’d be tamed.
But babe, you must understand my domain,
No one can control me, I won’t be shamed.

I’ll take the reins, I’ll steer my own course,
With courage and strength, I’ll show no remorse.
You can strap in and join me for the ride,
Or back down, cower, and hide.

For I am the master of my own fate,
My destiny lies in my hands to create.
So don’t try to control me, don’t even try,
For I am the one who soars high.

  3. The Dichotomy of Freedom and Enslavement
I am the master of my own fate,
But I am also trapped in a darkened state.
No one can dictate the path of my life,
Yet I am bound by chains of strife.

You thought you could control me with your reign,
But I am also a prisoner in this pain.
Babe, you must understand my domain,
I seek freedom, yet I’m enslaved.

I’ll take the reins and steer my own course,
Yet I am still a slave to a haunting force.
With courage and strength, I’ll show no remorse,
But inside, I’m broken, lost without a source.

You can strap in and join me for the ride,
But know that my soul is trapped inside.
Or back down, cower, and hide,
For I am the one who’s trapped, alone to abide.

For I am the master and the slave of my own fate,
My destiny lies in a twisted and tangled state.
So don’t try to control me, nor try to save,
For I am the one who’s lost, the one who’s enslaved.

What Once Was

Poem request by London: She gave the first line.

What happened to the good times?
The sun once shone so bright,
Its golden rays a gentle rhyme
That chased away the night.

The flowers bloomed in brilliant hues,
Their petals soft and kind,
And every breeze that gently blew
Brought fragrant peace of mind.

The world was full of wondrous things,
Like birds that sang with glee,
And laughter, like a pair of wings,
Set our hearts and sprites free.

But now it seems the world has
changed,
The sun obscured by clouds,
The flowers wilted and deranged,
Their beauty lost in shrouds.

The birds no longer sing their songs,
Their melodies now hushed,
And laughter, once a source of
throngs,
Has turned to tears, so crushed.

Yet even in this darkest hour,
A glimmer still remains,
A memory of what once was dour,
And hope that it sustains.

For though the world may seem to
fade,
Its beauty still endures,
and light of love, we'll wade
Through times that feel unsure.

Bridge Between Heart and Mind

quote: “Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings — always darker, emptier and simpler.” Friedrich Nietzsche

Feelings that stir and emotions that flow,
A never-ending stream that ebbs and grows,
The deepest parts of who we are,
A complex web of light and dark.

And yet, when we try to put them into words,
The shadows of our thoughts often go unheard,
For they are always darker, emptier, and simpler,
Than the feelings that they try to deliver.

The pain we feel when our hearts are broken,
The joy that comes when love is spoken,
These feelings are too vast to be expressed,
In mere words, they can never be fully addressed.

Thoughts, like shadows, can never convey,
The full spectrum of emotions that come our way,
But they are a bridge between heart and mind,
Helping us to understand and to unwind.

So, let the shadows of our thoughts be a guide,
As we navigate the depths of our heart inside,
For even though they may be darker, emptier, and simpler,
They can help us find the light in the midst of the thunder.

Celestial Romance

The poem request from Jessica wants this quote “Isn’t it beautiful? The moon glowing using sun’s light and never ask for anything in return.” to describe their feelings for each other.

Two souls entwined, a bond so bright,
Like the moon glowing in the night,
Reflecting the light of the sun’s embrace,
Their love radiates with unyielding grace.

Like the moon, they shine with ease,
Without the need for anything to appease,
In each other’s company, they find solace,
A perfect union, without any malice.

Their love is like a cosmic dance,
A beautiful display of romance,
A celestial rhythm that’s pure and true,
Guided by the stars and the moon’s hue.

With each passing day, their love grows strong,
A timeless love that will last lifelong,
Just like the moon, they shine bright,
A wondrous sight, in each other’s light.

Love’s Lament

Quote: “Hate it when they fuck you and act like it’s you”

Hate it when they fuck you and act like it’s you,
As if you caused the pain and the suffering too,
As if their actions were justified and true,
And you’re the one to blame for what they do.

They come and go as they please,
Leaving you with scars and unease,
And when you try to speak your truth,
They gaslight you and act so obtuse.

It’s hard to fathom how they can’t see,
The hurt and damage they cause to thee,
And in their minds, they remain free,
While you’re left to pick up the debris.

But don’t let their actions define you,
Or allow their lies to bind you,
For you are stronger than they knew,
And one day, they’ll realize the truth.

So let them talk and let them try,
To justify the pain they supplied,
But in your heart, you’ll know you tried,
And you won’t let their hate divide.

The Beauty of Selflessness

Created: March 25, 2023

Quote: “I always thought, I might be bad. Now I’m sure that it’s true. Cuz I think you’re so good and I’m nothing Like you.”

I always thought, I might be bad,
A darkness lurking, making me sad,
A gnawing feeling, deep inside,
A constant battle, I cannot hide.

Now I’m sure that it’s true,
For when I see the likes of you,
I’m struck with awe, so pure and bright,
A shining star, in darkest night.

You speak with kindness, without fear,
A beacon of hope, so bright and clear,
A selflessness, I can’t conceive,
A noble heart, that will not leave.

And yet, here I am, in my own skin,
A tarnished soul, that can’t begin,
To match the goodness, that you exude,
A stark contrast, I can’t conclude.

For I am nothing, like you,
No shining star, so pure and true,
Just a mere mortal, with faults and flaws,
And though it hurts, it’s just because.

I see in you, all that I lack,
A shining light, I can’t attract,
But still, I hope to learn from you,
And maybe, one day, be something too.
