Victim of Cheating

23/10/17

I never thought I'd catch you doing this to me,
Betrayed and broken, my trust shattered at the seams,
Innocence lost, like a ship lost at sea,
A victim of cheating, lost in painful dreams.

Deceit and lies, like venom in my veins,
I'm haunted by secrets, by your hidden gains,
Tears and torment, my heart forever stained,
A victim of cheating, in this never-ending rain.

Loneliness engulfs me, a constant, cold embrace,
Each moment's a reminder of your false, two-faced grace,
I never thought I'd be in this darkened place,
A victim of cheating, my heart's a hollow space.

The pain, the hurt, too much to bear,
A victim of cheating, a soul laid bare,
But I'll find the strength, the will to repair,
In time, I'll heal, from this cruel affair.

Victim of Misfortune

23/10/09

In love's intricate labyrinth, I'm ensnared,
A victim of adversity, emotions laid bare.
With blind trust, I gave my heart, unprepared,
To find it shattered, scattered, and left impaired.

In shadows of doubt, my heart lies confined,
A prisoner of pain, love's truth undermined.
Betrayed by whispers, love's song undefined,
I ponder the love that time left behind.

In this world of tears, I navigate the strife,
A casualty of misfortune, a wounded life.
The echoes of heartbreak, the silent life,
Resound in chambers of my broken life.

Through the wreckage of love, I tread the road,
A victim of misfortune, my heart erode.
With every tear, a story unfolds,
In the pages of heartache, my truth untold.

Echoes of Consequence

Created: 23/10/03

Ivory Stokes:
One day you will have to answer for your actions
And God may not be so merciful.

In the quiet depths of existence, the ledger remains,
A relentless observer, impartial and just,
Unfazed by pleas or the weight of remorse.

Each choice etches a mark upon the tapestry,
The tapestry of existence we weave,
Threads of intention, woven with the threads of consequence.

In the dim corridors of time, we tread,
Unaware of the final audit awaiting,
No ledger lost, no action hidden,
For every cause has its inevitable effect.

The scales of justice, unwavering,
No hand can tip them, no plea can sway,
The reckoning looms, no escape in sight,
For deeds once done, forever in the annals of eternity.

God's mercy, a distant echo, faint and fading,
As we march forward, boun  by our actions,
In the end, the sum of our choices,
Shall determine our fate, our legacy, our truth.

Deceptive Embrace: Unmasking Love Bombing

23/7/20

In a realm of deceit, where shadows dance,
There lies a tactic, a cruel romance.
Love bombing, it's called, a manipulative art,
A toxic allure, a deceitful sweetheart.

With honeyed words and gestures grand,
They sweep you up in their cunning plan.
Like a whirlwind of affection, they draw you near,
But beware, my friend, for danger lurks here.

They shower you with praise, a captivating spell,
Their affection overwhelms, like a sweet-scented swell.
They whisper promises, make you feel adored,
But beneath the surface, a trap is carefully stored.

Love bombing, a facade, a twisted embrace,
Designed to bind you in a tight, suffocating space.
Their affections, like petals, wilt and fade,
Leaving you broken, vulnerable, betrayed.

Their love is a weapon, a manipulative game,
To control your thoughts, your actions, your name.
They prey on your vulnerabilities, exploit your desire,
Leaving you lost, consumed by the fire.

But listen, dear heart, do not be swayed,
For love should be gentle, not a game to be played.
Recognize the signs, the false promises they bring,
And break free from the chains of their insidious string

Hold onto your worth, your strength, and your voice,
Don't let their love bombing drown out your choice.
In the face of their tactics, stand tall and strong,
For true love is patient, it would never steer you wrong.

So, shield your heart, be cautious, be wise,
Don't let love bombing cloud your clear skies.
Find love that's authentic, built on trust and respect,
And let manipulative tactics be forever in retrospect.

Art vs Expectations

In a world where dreams were cast aside,
My artistic fire began to hide.
The people around me, their doubts grew strong,
"Study harder, child, don't you want to belong?"

Ambitions suppressed, I followed their lead,
Achieving straight A's, fulfilling their creed.
But empty was my heart, devoid of delight,
For I craved the canvas, the colors so bright.

High school arrived, my facade crumbled fast,
Grades slipped away, like grains in an hourglass.
Yet within the chaos, a spark reappeared,
1 picked up my pencil, my passion revered.

Years lost, creativity held in chains,
But I embraced art, despite the pains.
And amidst the struggle, a glimmer of hope,
For my mother's support, like a lifeline, she'd rope.

Yet weary I grew, tired of pretense,
Of family's false pride, their shallow defense.
Demanding my work, their voices would persist,
But their words felt hollow, a mocking twist.

So now I break free, from their expectations,
Seeking my path, defying frustrations.
For art is my essence, my soul's sweet release,
Not measured by praise or societal peace.

I'll paint with resilience, my spirit aflame,
With strokes of passion, I'II etch my own name.
No longer bound by their doubtful embrace,
I'll forge my own destiny, in colors I trace.

For true fulfillment lies in following my heart,
In art's vast canvas, I'll find my true art.
No more seeking validation or lies to appease,
I’ll paint my own masterpiece, my soul's masterpiece.

Regretful Denial of Love

Kell: Look I… I can’t care for you the way I care for her. You know…?

Bianca: I know.

Kell: “You know–” Then why do you hang out with me like this anyway? Why do you spend so much time with me…?

Bianca: Well. Because I care for you. Isn’t that reason enough?

(Video gets cut off)

Marcell: Do you regret your choice now? Denying her feelings like they meant nothing.

Kell: You think holding me here will bring her back from the grave?

Marcell: All you had to do was care for her even if it wasn’t real.

In the depths of our tangled hearts’ maze,
Where love and longing intertwined,
A fragile dance of souls ablaze,
Two paths diverged, destinies assigned.

Kell, tormented by a love untamed,
His heart divided, pulled apart,
Could not reciprocate as Bianca claimed,
For another held his beating heart.

“I can’t care for you,” he softly spoke,
His voice laden with sorrow’s weight,
A confession that left their spirits broke,
Their bond tested, strained by fate.

Bianca, aware of his conflicted plight,
Accepted his truth with grace profound,
In her heart, a flickering light,
For Kell, her friendship did resound.

“Why do you stay?” he pleaded, distressed,
Seeking solace in her tender reply,
“I care for you,” she gently professed,
A reason pure, no question of why.

But regret loomed heavy in Marcell’s eyes,
As he observed the choices made,
He saw the pain, the love denied,
The consequences that wouldn’t fade.

“Do you regret?” Marcell asked, accusation in his tone,
Denying her feelings, like petals withered away,
He hoped to awaken what was overthrown,
To find redemption in love’s array.

But Kell’s response was resolute, yet bleak,
“Holding me here won’t revive what’s lost,
Even if I pretended, my heart wouldn’t speak,
Love can’t be forced at any cost.”

So Marcell, with pen in hand, crafted a verse,
An elegy for love’s shattered refrain,
A poem to capture the pain and curse,
Of hearts entangled, love’s bittersweet domain.

In the realm of words, he wove their tale,
Of Kell and Bianca, a bond misunderstood,
A tragedy of hearts destined to fail,
And the lessons learned in love’s tangled wood.

What Once Was

Poem request by London: She gave the first line.

What happened to the good times?
The sun once shone so bright,
Its golden rays a gentle rhyme
That chased away the night.

The flowers bloomed in brilliant hues,
Their petals soft and kind,
And every breeze that gently blew
Brought fragrant peace of mind.

The world was full of wondrous things,
Like birds that sang with glee,
And laughter, like a pair of wings,
Set our hearts and sprites free.

But now it seems the world has
changed,
The sun obscured by clouds,
The flowers wilted and deranged,
Their beauty lost in shrouds.

The birds no longer sing their songs,
Their melodies now hushed,
And laughter, once a source of
throngs,
Has turned to tears, so crushed.

Yet even in this darkest hour,
A glimmer still remains,
A memory of what once was dour,
And hope that it sustains.

For though the world may seem to
fade,
Its beauty still endures,
and light of love, we'll wade
Through times that feel unsure.

The End of Us (Poem)

The words flew fast like bullets shot,
A battle waged, a love distraught.
Isheal and Tituba, in heated debate,
The end of their relationship, sealed by fate.

Isheal was shocked, to hear “okay”,
Tituba’s acceptance, of the end of their way.
He wanted a fight, to see her care,
But Tituba was done, beyond repair.

“You’re throwing it all away,” he cried,
But Tituba knew the truth, she didn’t hide.
“You wanted to break up, not me,
Why should I beg, on bended knee?”

Isheal wanted her to change his mind,
To make him believe, in love that’s blind.
But Tituba knew, it wasn’t her role,
To fix what was broken, to make him whole.

Desperate pleas, fell on deaf ears,
Tituba was done, had no more tears.
“Why do you want to end this love we made?”
Isheal stammered, his words delayed.

Tituba knew the truth, she saw the signs,
Isheal was testing her, playing with minds.
“This relationship was never meant to be,
Don’t contact me again, I’ve set myself free.”

And with that, Tituba walked away,
Leaving Isheal alone, with nothing to say.
Their love was over, a thing of the past,
A story ended, one that couldn’t last.

End Of Us (Convo/Story)

Isheal: We should break up

Tituba: Okay.

Isheal: Okay?

Tituba: Yeah okay.

Isheal: Just like that?

Tituba: What do you want me to do?

Isheal: IDK, I JUST WASN’T EXPECTING “okay”.

Tituba: What, you want me to fucking beg for you to stay?

Isheal: No, it just seems like you’re throwing this all away.

Tituba: I’m throwing it all away? Are you okay? Did you hit your damn head somewhere?

Isheal: Yeah, it’s like you don’t even care…

Tituba: You’re the one who wanted to break up with me. How is this my fault my nigga.

Isheal: UR NOT EVEN WILLING TO FIGHT FOR US!!

Tituba: Fight for what?? There is no us it’s all you sweety. What you’re really looking for me is to fight with you and I’m not finna waste my time doing that.

Isheal: CHANGE MY MIND. MAKE ME BELIEVE IN US AGAIN!!

Tituba: You want me to do that? I think you are placing the responsibility on the wrong person here don’t you think.

Isheal: You decide if we should stay together.

Tituba: My brain is hurting listening to this insolent fuckery coming from your mouth. Babe you already decided and I’m just respecting your decision.

Isheal: I’ll take it back if you say so. Just say the WORD!!

Tituba: If I decided to stay with someone who wanted to break up I’d be crazy you know that right.

Isheal: can’t you just reassure me that we’ll be okay. I’ll forget.

Tituba: Desperate is not the word I can use to describe how you acting right now.

Isheal: I’m not desperate or whatever else you can think to call me.

Tituba: Curious about why you want to end our relationship. Speak fast before I stop caring.

Isheal: It just felt like you (Tituba cuts her off)

Tituba: Like I didn’t care about you? You make me fucking laugh you know that.

Isheal: Laugh? I just feel that I can never get close to you. You keep pushing me away.

Tituba: You trying to rush this relationship. You may be ready to skip some steps but it doesn’t mean I am ready to do that.

Isheal: See? You are (Tiuba cuts her off again)

Tituba: You never asked me. Stop jumping to conclusions about me not caring about you at all. I feel like you did this all just to see if I cared or not right?

Isheal: Now your jumping to (Gets cut off again)

Tituba: Yes or No?

Isheal: …

Tituba: I see. You know testing me instead of just communicating shows this relationship was never meant to work out. Don’t give me any excuses as well. I’m done listening to you so Ima just leave. Don’t think about contacting me either. I blocked you and deleted your number throughout this whole conversation.

Eternal Sentinel

Uneka calls out to Ishnol,
As he walks away, without control.
Leaving her behind, once again,
Without a word, or a thought to spend.

But then, she grabs him by the arm,
And he turns, with his eyes alarmed.
Black and white, with a Nordic sign,
A sight that makes her heart decline.

Ishnol speaks of immortality,
A curse that brings him agony,
Endless pain, and suffering,
A life that’s never-ending.

He’s seen things he wishes he hadn’t,
And his soul has been broken and battered.
He can’t be attached to anyone,
For they will die, while he lives on.

He’s been betrayed and held captive,
His gift a curse, that’s so massive.
Uneka tries to understand,
But he’s too broken to take her hand.

He tells her that immortality is a curse,
A fate worse than death, that’s adverse.
A reminder of one’s own insignificance,
In a universe that’s cruel and indifferent.

So Uneka learns from Ishnol’s pain,
And she’ll never see immortality the same.
For his words are a warning, a call,
To never seek what’s not worth it all.
