Purpose: For my boyfriend

Have to get this off my chest
I’m telling you today
That when I talk to you
Oh cupid walks right through
And shoots an arrow through my heart

In your presence, time stands still,
Our connection, an enchanting thrill.
As words flow between us, I’m swept away,
Lost in a symphony only we can play.

The arrow’s sting, a bittersweet pain,
For with it comes a love I can’t restrain.
