Why don’t you get it? Can’t you get it? Understand!! They’re gonna rip your heart out!! To elevate your soulless qualities!!
In a tempest of fury, words did clash,
The angered voice, a venomous lash,
“Why don’t you get it?” the cry did ring,
A plea for understanding, a poignant thing.
“Can’t you grasp the truth, the imminent dread?
They shall tear your heart out,” it fiercely said,
“To lift your soulless qualities high,
In a realm where darkness claims the sky.”
The poet’s pen, poised to translate,
The agony of words, the burdensome weight,
The conversation weaved, its rhythm bold,
As anguish and desperation were fearlessly told.
The response emerged in poetic strain,
A quest for comprehension, to ease the pain,
“In the storm of emotions, I seek to see,
The depths of your torment, the plea within thee.”
The voice, unyielding, its fervor untamed,
An echo of suffering, a soul inflamed,
“To elevate your soulless qualities, behold!
They’ll rend your essence, a story untold.”
But still, the poet yearned for a thread,
To grasp the essence, the thoughts widespread,
A symphony of words, an understanding sought,
To breathe life into emotions, no matter how fraught.
In verses entwined, they danced and swayed,
The voice, a tempest, refused to fade,
The poet’s pen, a bridge to connect,
To capture the heartache, to deeply reflect.
Yet amidst the turmoil, a flicker of light,
A glimmer of empathy, breaking through the night,
For in the poet’s soul, compassion did rise,
To empathize with pain, to harmonize.
And so, the poem’s tapestry unfurled,
An intricate dance in the vast, poetic world,
The conversation etched in lyrical rhyme,
A vessel for understanding, transcending time.
For in the realm of poetry’s embrace,
Words have the power to heal and erase,
Misunderstanding’s grip, with empathy’s plea,
To unite hearts, to set emotions free.
