Death’s Hallucinations

24/10/01

There's whispers of departure fleeting sighs,
Humans linger on the cusp of dissolution,
Fractured realms crumble into fragmented echoes,
Shadows dance, a macabre waltz in twilight's beckoning grasp.

Visions cascade, cascading torrents of recollection,
A kaleidoscope of fragmented realities and yearning,
Each shard a haunting, vivid mosaic,
Pointing the tapestry of existence in spectral hues.

Moments before the final curtain descends,
The mind's theatre unfurls, a silent cinema,
Staging a play of forgotten memoirs,
A procession of untrodden paths and unresolved whispers.

Between gasps and fading pulses,
The veil thins, as mortality surrenders to uncertainty,
A dance with phantoms in the theater of the mind,
Darkness and light entwined in a haunting embrace.
