Inspiration from Vera Lynn’s “We’ll Meet Again”
We'll meet again, in memories' embrace,
Where cherished moments dwell, in time and space,
Though parted by fate, ans life's cruel demands,
In remembereance, we'll linger, holding hands.
Through tear-stained recollections, we'll find solace,
For in grief's embrace, we seek a fragile solstice,
But let not false hope sway, for truth must prevail,
As we navigate the depths of heartfelt travail.
We'll meet again, in whishpers of the wind,
As fleeting echoes of love, forever chagrined,
In each passing season, a reminder, bittersweet,
That time moves on, and hearts quietly retreat.
No promises of reunion, nor grand illusions,
But tender reflections, bound by life's conclusions,
For though we yearn for presence, that cannot be,
In our hearts, dear souls, forever you'll be.
So let us mourn with grace,, embrace the sorrow,
For in loss, we find strength to face the morrow,
In this elegy we scribe, withh words so true,
May our love endure, eternal and through.
