Yearning Drums

Poem request: Cj (She/Her)

Oh yearning heart,
Aching for a love to start,
Longing for a lover’s touch,
Yearning for it oh so much.

Like a distant drumbeat,
My heart skips to your feet,
Calling out with every thump,
For your love to make me jump.

Whispers in the wind,
Of love and passion that’s within,
Like a symphony, it crescendos,
With the beating of our hearts’ echoes.

Oh yearning heart,
The beat of the drums starts,
Like the pounding of a storm,
Longing for love to transform.

Tick-tock goes the clock,
As time moves with every knock,
And I’m left here to yearn,
For the love I so much burn.

But still, I’ll wait and listen,
For the sound of your love’s admission,
And with each beat, I’ll sing,
Of the love my heart will bring.

Susurrat in umbra: Narratio de proditione et deceptione

In shadows deep, a plot was hatched
Deception, lies, and fear were matched
My ex, a girl with secrets dark
Used a friend close, to leave her mark

A betrayal so dark, it chilled the bone
As secrets whispered, were left unknown
My friend, acting like all was fine
Concealed the truth, the ultimate crime

The girl I loved, so close to me
Used her friend, as a tool to see
How much pain, she could inflict
As I stood alone, my heart was tricked

Lies, so many, it’s hard to count
Betrayal, a wound that will not mount
My friend, a shadow of her past
Used as a pawn, her loyalty didn’t last

Secrecy, the weapon of choice
As trust was broken, and love destroyed
Bleak and dark, my world did turn
As I was left to slowly burn

My ex, a master of manipulation
A puppeteer of human creation
My friend, a pawn in her game
As my heart was left in shame

In shadows deep, the truth was found
As my world came tumbling down
Betrayal, lies, and secrets dark
Left me alone, with a broken heart.

World of Wonder and Joy

The world, so vast and wide,
With its oceans, mountains, and sky,
Brings me joy that I cannot hide,
And lifts my spirits up high.

The sound of birds chirping,
The rustle of leaves in the breeze,
The sight of flowers blooming,
All fill my heart with ease.

The world is full of wonder,
With every corner to explore,
From the cities to the jungles,
There’s beauty to adore.

The laughter of children playing,
The kindness of strangers’ faces,
These small moments of grace,
Make the world a better place.

Oh, how the world makes me smile,
And fills me up with glee,
For all its diversity and style,
I’m happy to be part of this journey.

Secretum onus

Request well not really but whateves atp. by anonymous

In the depths of my heart lies a secret
so true
A feeling that's hidden from everyone.
even you
It's something I've kept locked up
tight
For fear of causing a great fright

The embarrassment I feel is deep
As though my secret I must keep
I don't want others to know
For fear of what they'll say or show

Secrecy is my only friend
My constant companion until the end
It keeps my secret hidden away
And keeps me safe from the light of
day

But the burden is heavy, and I feel
weighed down
My smile is a mask that hides my
frown
I long to be free from this secret so
dear
But the fear of judgment is what I fear

So, I'll keep my secret safe and sound
Deep within my heart, it will be bound
For in the darkness, it will reside
And my embarrassment, I'll try to
hide.

Enchanted Forest’s Promise

I am a forest, tall and vast
With trees so dark, they seem to last
For endless miles, through the night
But do not fear, for I invite

Those brave enough to venture near
To see what secrets I hold dear
For deep within my cypress grove
A hidden beauty does unfold

Beneath the shadows, blooms of rose
Their sweet fragrance, a treasure
trove
For those who dare to seek and find
A beauty that was once confined

So do not fear my darkness deep
But come and wander, let me keep
Your heart and mind, forevermore
In my enchanted forest floor.

Shaman of Earth and Stone

Mixaku, the shaman of earth and stone,
From the Tribal Lands he has grown,
Crafting jewelry with expert hands,
Studying ancient lore in tribal lands.

His eyes, a mesmerizing purple hue,
Gaze upon the world with wisdom true,
His skin, an earthy brown and bold,
Tattoos mark him as a shaman, foretold.

In City of Towers, he now resides,
A place where new challenges reside,
Though some may judge and discriminate,
Mixaku stays strong and never abates.

He practices martial arts with grace,
An expert metalworker, he sets the pace,
And with gems, he cuts with skill,
An artist with a craftsman’s will.

But his true gift, a power untold,
Control over earth and stone, behold!
Creating and manipulating golems with ease,
A power few can ever hope to seize.

Recently, he faced his own darkness true,
Confronting it with strength and virtue,
Shattering the mirror that held his fears,
Mixaku is now stronger, with fewer tears.

A journey of self-improvement, he begins,
With personal growth as his heart wins,
Mixaku, the shaman of earth and stone,
A humanoid with a spirit all his own.

Forever Remembered

The quote used: “So in short, remember parents that children can be quite fragile in their early stages of life. They can. And will. Remember everything.”

They Can. And Will. Remember Everything

Tiny hands and fragile bones,
Beneath the weight of heavy stones,
Childhood dreams that fade and die,
Like broken wings that cannot fly.

They can. And will. Remember everything.

A mother’s touch that turns to pain,
A father’s love that wanes in vain,
A broken home, a shattered heart,
A childhood ripped and torn apart.

They can. And will. Remember everything.

The wounds that fester deep inside,
The tears that flow but never subside,
The scars that mar the tender skin,
The innocence lost, the stain within.

They can. And will. Remember everything.

The years go by, the wounds remain,
A constant ache, a lasting stain,
The memories that haunt the night,
The shadows that refuse to take flight.

They can. And will. Remember everything.

The world is cruel, the future bleak,
The pain that lasts, the heart too weak,
The scars that mark the path they tread,
The memories that never truly fade.

They can. And will. Remember everything.

The Silent Operator: Ishnol’s Tale

At 15 years old, a young operator stands
Ishnol, his name, from the Vishnu lands
With black eyes that pierce through the veil
And a Makial form, silver mist green and pale

His past is shrouded in mystery and haze
Found as a child, trapped in his ancestral phase
A collapsed building, trauma, and pain
May have triggered his transformation, a unique gain

His youth belies his skill and prowess
A valuable member of the team, no less
A silent presence, a face of calm
Little emotion shown, like a healing balm

But beneath the surface, a storm may rage
A past that haunts, a story on a blank page
His transformation, a mystery and a wonder
A secret power, unleashed like thunder

Ishnol disappears, without a trace or a word
Days, weeks, months, a silence that’s absurd
Where he goes, what he does, none can tell
A mystery that adds to his enigmatic spell

But one thing is certain, his potential is great
His abilities unique, a promising fate
For Ishnol, the future is still unwritten
A young operator, with skills yet unbidden.

A Tale of Failed Promises and Harsh Realities

  1. The Truth of Your LifeI said you could do better, I said you should try
But your lazy habits, they never did die
You promised to change, to be a new you
But your failures, they’re all I see in view

You try to convince me, to plead your case
But I’ve seen this all before, your lies and disgrace
Your words, they’re empty, your actions, a sham
And I’m tired of you not giving a damn

You call yourself a success, but you’re a fraud
Your ego, your pride, they’ve made you flawed
Your incompetence, it’s all on display
And it’s time for you to face the dismay

I can’t stand by and watch you pretend
Your arrogance, it needs to come to an end
Your excuses, they’re tired, your apologies, stale
And it’s time for you to face your own betrayal

You’ll never be better, you’ll never change
Your life, it’s destined for perpetual range
So save your breath, your pleading, your strife
Because in the end, it’s just the truth of your life.

  2. Embracing the failure

With words like knives, you cut me deep
Your bitter tongue, its poison seeps
“You said you would do better,” you sneer
As if my efforts, you refuse to hear

“You said you would try to be better”
Your cruel words, they only fetter
My soul, my heart, my very being
Your doubt, my demons, now agreeing

A failure, you call me, without remorse
My hope, my dreams, you aim to divorce
In your eyes, I am forever stained
By the mistakes, I have made and sustained

I try to rise, to break free from your hold
But your words, they make my spirit fold
You say I will never be able to change
As if my life, you have already arranged

Your voice echoes in my mind’s abyss
A reminder of all that I will miss
Darkness engulfs, my heart beats slow
As I embrace the failure, I already know.

The Fatal Rule of Love

In life, there are rules we’re told to obey,
To keep us safe and out of harm’s way,
And among them is a harsh decree,
To show no love, or risk death’s key.

For love is a thing that softens the heart,
And makes us vulnerable, torn apart,
It opens us up to pain and despair,
And leaves us defenseless, stripped and bare.

So we’re told to be cold, to keep love at bay,
To guard ourselves in every single way,
To never let our guard down or give in,
For love is a weakness, a fatal sin.

But what of the beauty that love can bring,
The warmth it provides, the joy it can sing,
The way it connects us to others around,
And lifts us up when we’re feeling down?

Is it worth the risk to shut out love’s light,
To live in the darkness of eternal night,
To miss out on the moments that make life worth living,
And the happiness that love can bring, freely giving?

Perhaps we should reconsider this rule,
And instead embrace love as a powerful tool,
To connect us to others in a meaningful way,
And enrich our lives with each passing day.

For in the end, it’s love that gives life its meaning,
The joy and the laughter, the moments redeeming,
So let us show love, let our hearts be unfurled,
For love is the greatest gift in this world.
