Essential Software Security

Project for COSC 175

Software security is essential and must be taken seriously,

Because hackers are constantly hiding and looking to take advantage of people.

Given that everything is now digitized and accessible online,

The most important thing is to protect sensitive information, period.

Software security is not always straightforward to achieve.

It entails locating weaknesses and neatly fixing them.

Neglecting security can have disastrous results.

resulting in a decline in client loyalty and a loss of trust.

From integer errors to buffer overflows,

And everything in between, security risks are always on the go.

It’s up to developers to ensure, that their code is secure,

Keeping it up-to-date, and free from any obscure.

So remember, software security is not just a choice,

It’s a responsibility, one that should not be voiced.

Protecting users and their data, is always the goal,

For software security is essential, it’s the heart and soul.

Fragments of Heartache, Portrait of Resilience

I suck at studying so yeah here this is…

In the depths of my soul, a tear is born,
A painful droplet, from a heart forlorn,
Countless cries, in silence they hide,
Unseen, unnoticed, my tears coincide.

Into the void, my gaze is cast,
Embracing nothingness, the moments vast,
Within, my heart shatters, broken and frail,
A wretched scream, unheard, but true and pale.

Longing for your call, aching for your touch,
Empty promises, never delivered as such,
I believed your words, held them as true,
Some were lies, distorted and askew.

Left in the lurch, waiting in vain,
Deceived by your actions, inflicted with pain,
Once again, my heart shattered and scarred,
For I thought, naively, our bond could discard.

Amidst the chaos, I find my release,
In the hope that finally, my agony would cease,
Yet nerves consume you, a portrait of strain,
But your smile persists, through every self-made bane.

Battered and bruised, your spirit does show,
Yet your laughter soothes, the room all aglow,
Though hurt you’ve endured, from others and within,
Never would you inflict pain, for it’s love you believe in.

In silence, you dwell, a quiet repose,
Annoyance it brings, yet compassion it shows,
With self-consciousness etched upon your soul,
You mend others’ brokenness, making them whole.

Oh, how you despise yourself, it seems,
A relentless battle, where self-hate teems,
But know this, dear boy, in your flaws and strife,
You’re a beacon of light, bringing love to life.

For in this tapestry of joy and despair,
You’re an artist, creating love beyond compare,
And though you may stumble, with doubts that invade,
You’re a masterpiece, worthy of love that won’t fade.

Echoes of Silence

In shadows cast by words unkind,
A conversation, twisted, we find.
Two voices clah, an eerie duet,
Where power plays its wicked set.

"Mind," it speaks, with sinister glee,
This little game, thank stars it's free.
Did you have fun, forget those who bring
Joy to your heart, like a broken string?

The Guy, silenced, seeks to respong,
But jis words, like echoes, are swiftly gone.
The Mind relishes in its relief,
A sinister smile, devoid of belief.

"Welcome home, child," the Mind does sneer
A dominance claimed, crystal clear.
A power dynamic, cold and unjust,
Leaving the Guy in doubt and distrust.

In this conversation's twisted tide,
The Mind revels, its power to hide.
Yet the Guy, though silenced, holds strength inside,
Seeking liberation, where truth shall reside.
