Poem request by Nilah❤️: “Cease Contact” (In cursive)
In depths of time, a decree was cast, A solemn edict, a decree so vast. Three months of silence, a ban set in stone, No contacting me, I am on my own. Words once whispered, now swallowed by night, Emotions concealed, hidden from sight. No calls, no messages, no tender plea, A chasm of silence between you and me. Three months stretch long, Like endless miles, Throuhg seasons changing, amidst tears and smiles. Each day a struggle, a bittersweet test, Yearning for connection, to feel truly blessed. No more midnight conversations, filled with laughter's grace, No more heartfelt confessions, shared in sacred space The void of absence grows deeper each day, Longing for the touch of words, in a world turned gray. But within this ban, a chance to heal, To find solace within, a soul's appeal. Three months to grow, to nurture the self, To mend the wounds left by love's ailing stealth.
In solitude's embrace, I find my way, Rediscovering strength, with each passing day. Seeking new paths, carving destiny's course, Rebuilding foundations, unleashing a force. When the ban is lifted, and time has passed, We may reconnect, our hearts at long last. But if not, I'll stand tall, having grown anew, Grateful for the silence that helped me find the true. So, three months of ban, a chapter to endure, A journey of self-discovery, sincere and pure. Though the distance may sting, and the longing may persist, I'll emerge stronger, wiser, and ready to exist.
