My personal favorite and the concentration I’ll be following, the Radio/Audio concentration offers plenty of opportunities and different gateways into different careers that have to do with audio.
The Radio/Audio concentration offers classes such as sound creation and design, production sound for film and video, live sound reinforcement, radio station operations, recording techniques, and even classes in the music industry such as live performances and recording.
To facilitate this, Towson’s media center has plenty of studios for their audio classes and projects, like a foley studio, recording equipment, and post-production equipment. Towson’s Radio/Audio concentration and their facilities make learning audio production fun, exciting, and creative, and I can’t wait to experiment with them myself in my later years of being at Towson.
