Arena Perks/History

Original Timberwolves owners Marv Wolfenson and Harvey Ratner built, owned and operated the first arena for five years beginning in 1990. The arena was dubbed the Target center. The venue was managed by Ogden Entertainment after the city of Minneapolis purchased the arena in 1995. After Glen Taylor acquired the Timberwolves in 1994 and the Lynx in 1999, he took over. The Target center has been the home of the Minnesota Timberwolves for their entire existence as an NBA franchise.

One of the main appeals of the Timberwolves arena is the highly touted Club TI. It is their take on premium seating in NBA arenas. They offer reserved seats and a dynamic, all-inclusive food and beverage experience designed by locally-renowned chef and restaurateur David Fhima. The drink menu will take the same-curated approach, featuring local spirits, craft beer and stadium classics. This along with the great seating already available, this arena is seen as one of the nicest.
