Feeling Rejected by God.
God is love and he forgives us no matter what we have done that is true but God rejects people & some lifestyles. People try to forget or ignore the fact that God is GOD and He has a righteous standards. As believers we should try our best to remain in a place where we are pleasing to God and constantly growing in His knowledge. If or when you get on the path of rebellion or outright disobedience (i.e. the people of Israel) that will lead you to distraction and desolation.
Think about it, lets say you have a parent who loves you unconditionally. They teach you the way they know you should go. They tell you not to lie, not to steal, not to kill, be honest and humble, work hard in school, be driven, but at the end of the day if the child is deliberately choosing to do what he or she wants to do and ignore the parents instruction, that parent cannot save them from the consequences and potential danger of those decisions. Maybe you haven’t heard it, but my parents made it VERY clear to me that if I had gotten pregnant while I was in their house that I would have to drop out of full time school, attend a nearby community college part time & work to pay for my child. They also made it very clear to my brother and I that if I or him end up in jail they are not giving up their house or car to bail me out.
In John 6:37, Jesus tells us that anyone Who comes to him will by no means be rejected. So we know that if we come humbled, repentant, & in faith, we will always be accepted. God unlike people does not reject based on race, gender, color, or age. God simply rejects certain behaviors and lifestyles that He does not accept. If you choose to remain in the lifestyles that God does not except he will then release you out of his care and let you pick the lifestyle that you have chosen over Him. Just like the frustrated parent who loves their child that keeps rebelling. Eventually they will let their child go through their own consequences the effects.
